Our Approach

"The new electronic interdependence recreates the world in the image of a global village."

Marshall McLuhan: 'The Gutenberg Galaxy'

  • Careful development of a thorough project brief is the foundation of a good project.

  • All parties should be encouraged to work as a team. A big stick is only one of the tools in the toolbox.

  • We try to make best use of IT and email to keep the development team in touch with each other and the developing circumstances of the project.

  • Meetings are necessary and key points are minuted but it is important not to have too many.

  • We advocate settling all disputes by negotiation. Litigation is for lawyers.

  • Personal contact is important but a paper trail must be maintained.

  • Thorough contractual documents are essential but should be 'firm but fair'.

  • Regular reporting is essential but it should be to the point.

"Work expands to fill the time available for its completion. General recognition of this fact is shown in the phrase 'it is the busiest man who has time to spare.' "

C. Northcote Parkinson: 'Parkinson's Law,' Ch.1
